Share the Treasure (moral/ethical development)

The sixth Unit addresses Moral and Ethical Development, helping students explore how people make moral judgments and how these affect their lives. They read several true stories and conduct "trials" in which the jury examines "right" and "wrong" and considers how people can be influenced or pressured by others to do things their way.

Their Challenge Activity is an interview by the Council of Elders, where they must demonstrate that they have learned to share the treasure of their new insights. At this point they are prepared to participate in the formal ceremony.
